Grassroots and digital fundraising director

Job description:

Lead the small-dollar, digital fundraising efforts for Climate Defiance through a variety of digital strategies. Create digital content and lead on all other aspects of digital fundraising. Areas of interest for organizational growth include paid ads and email list acquisition.

About us:

We are a youth-led group that launched in Spring 2023. We humiliate climate criminals to strip them of their power, shake society awake, and end the era of fossil fuels. We take away the social license of the fossil fuel industry. We move the Overton Window, the accepted terms of debate.

We have blockaded the White House Correspondents Dinner, stopped play at the Congressional Baseball Game, and made life miserable for too many CEOs, Senators and Cabinet Secretaries to count.

Location:

Ideal location is San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, NYC, DC, Chicago, or Houston, but we are open to making a hire anywhere in the US.

Qualifications:

1-4 years of digital fundraising experience

Demonstrated commitment to climate change and/or the progressive movement

[optional] experience with other forms of fundraising (phone, direct mail, text, etc.)

Pay & Benefits

Salary: $62,400 for full-time, $31,200 for half-time (Note: Our organization adheres to a flat pay scale, ensuring equal compensation for all members. Stated otherwise, everyone has the same salary.)

Vacation: Full-time employees are eligible for 20 days of paid vacation each year.

Holiday Leave: Climate Defiance observes 8 paid holidays throughout the course of the year.

Additional Leave: Each full-time employee is eligible for 5 sick days and 2 personal days.
