    About the Role

    We are seeking multiple Regional Liaisons who are highly motivated and results-driven to join our team. This role focuses on improving Medicaid programs by reducing health disparities, advancing health equity, and supporting the delivery of health-related social needs (HRSN) services.

    As a Regional Liaison, you will apply your expertise in community engagement, stakeholder relationship management, and communications to gather meaningful input for regional needs assessments and health equity plans. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, leverage insights on community needs and assets, and facilitate convenings that support key deliverables.

    Key Responsibilities

      • Project Management & Support
      • Assist the Director in implementing a structured project management approach to engage community stakeholders in developing regional needs assessments and health equity plans across multiple regions in New York.
      • Work closely with Program Managers to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
      • Regional Insights & Data Communication
      • Provide unique insights into community needs and assets by analyzing existing materials and ongoing stakeholder discussions.
      • Offer feedback on local activities and potential analytical approaches for measuring program successes and challenges.
      • Assist in designing data visualizations that effectively communicate findings to community stakeholders.
      • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building
      • Collaborate with subcontractors to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community members, health care providers, health plans, and community-based organizations.
      • Communicate data findings to external stakeholders, facilitating productive discussions and consensus-building.
      • Facilitation & Convenings
      • Support the design and delivery of interactive, in-person, and virtual convenings with internal and external team members.
      • Develop and distribute meeting materials, surveys, and other resources through multiple channels, including a password-protected stakeholder portal.
      • Primary Regional Contact
      • Serve as UHF’s lead point of contact for regional stakeholders, subcontractors, and consultants working in each region.

    Required Qualifications

      • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on health or health care.
      • Community Engagement: Strong background in engaging diverse stakeholders on complex health care topics.
      • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects on time and within budget, coordinating with internal and external teams.
      • Communication & Writing:
      • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
      • Strong writing and editing abilities for reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
      • Event & Convening Management: Demonstrated experience planning and managing large in-person and virtual events, including logistics, agenda development, meeting materials, and communications.

    Preferred Qualifications

      • Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, health care administration, public policy, social work, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
      • Regional Knowledge: Experience working with New York State stakeholders, with knowledge of one or more regions preferred.

    Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000
