Bayview is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing and supportive services in Madison’s historic Triangle Neighborhood. Bayview owns and manages 130 units of housing and operates a comprehensive community center that offers culturally relevant and responsive educational, social, recreational, and cultural programs and services. Position Summary
The Development Director is responsible for overseeing Bayview’s fundraising and communications strategy and implementation, including but not limited to donor relationship building/stewardship, corporate relations, grant writing, annual appeals, public awareness and fundraising/friendraising events, communications materials, as well as website and social media promotion. Prior experience in fundraising and communications work is required, with an emphasis on strong communication, relationship building, writing/storytelling and administrative skills.
Hours and Compensation
The Development Director is a full time position, 40 hrs/week, with an annual salary of $70,000-75,000 depending upon experience. Eligible for medical and dental benefits. Accrued PTO (sick, vacation, personal days) and holidays.
