    Key Responsibilities:

    Restorative Practices Coordination

    • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of restorative justice practices districtwide.
    • Train and coach school staff on the use of restorative circles, conferences, and relationship-building strategies.
    • Collaborate with site administrators and climate teams to embed restorative practices into Tier 1–3 behavior support systems.
    • Monitor and support the implementation of other means of correction (OMC) as an alternative to suspension and expulsion.

    Crisis Response and Threat Assessment

    • Coordinate and lead district and site-level crisis response efforts, ensuring alignment with mental health and safety protocols.
    • Serve as district liaison for school-based threat assessments, supporting cross-agency collaboration and site-based implementation.
    • Facilitate professional development on crisis prevention, trauma-informed response, and postvention strategies.

    Wellness and School Climate Integration

    • Support the integration of wellness practices within discipline and climate systems, including self-regulation, mindfulness, and student voice strategies.
    • Provide consultation to school climate teams to strengthen Tier 1 behavior expectations, positive reinforcement systems, and early intervention strategies.
    • Collaborate with mental health teams to ensure alignment of wellness supports with behavioral interventions.

    Data Analysis & Systems Improvement

    • Lead data review processes related to restorative practices, crisis responses, suspensions, and other means of correction.
    • Present actionable insights to leadership teams and support schools in using data to improve school climate outcomes.
    • Assist with the development and implementation of schoolwide Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) action plans.

    Training & Capacity Building

    • Design and deliver professional development and coaching on restorative justice, de-escalation, conflict resolution, and equity-based discipline strategies.
    • Facilitate communities of practice for site-based staff supporting behavior, safety, and student well-being.
    • Contribute to the development of districtwide guidance documents, toolkits, and protocols.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in school-based support, restorative justice, or crisis intervention.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of restorative justice, trauma-informed practices, school safety protocols, and student support systems.
    • Associates or Licensure as a mental health professional, preferred
    • Experience with K–12 multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), particularly in behavior and school climate.

    Preferred:

    • Experience leading school or district crisis teams or serving on a threat assessment team.
    • Familiarity with alternatives to suspension, PBIS, and culturally responsive discipline approaches.
    • Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
    • Ability to lead with cultural humility and trauma-informed practices.
    • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build trust across stakeholder groups.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information for decision-making.
