Reporting Relationships: Director of Social Services reports to Program Director
What you will do:
The Director of Social Services ensures quality care and oversees Clinical and Social Services functions of the shelter according to DHS regulatory and accreditation requirements. This individual is responsible for the oversight and implementation of care and resources for the purpose of meeting the physical, emotional and social needs of clients. The Director of Social Services provides supervision to the Intake Services and Case Management Teams and works with the Program Director to develop, implement, track, report, and evaluate measurable outcomes.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Program Director, Director of Social Services are expected to perform the following principal duties and responsibilities.
About you:
Degree Requirement: Master’s Degree in Related Field (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Education, Psychology, Sociology, etc.) - Highly Preferred or, Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with significant managerial experience.

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of New York State and City pay transparency laws. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the Role, Individuals Competencies, Education/professional Certifications, Qualifications/experience, Performance in the role.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $85,000 to $90,000
