    The Willie and Vivian Gaddis Foundation Program Manager is responsible for working directly with the Executive Director and CEO to plan, execute, and oversee programs that align with the mission and strategic objectives of the Gaddis Foundation, specifically managing the Jump Start College Program. Jump Start provides college access and career exploration opportunities to high school students. The incumbent will oversee program management to coordinate volunteers, stakeholders, and participants to ensure program goals are met in an efficient and sustainable way. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and thorough leader passionate about community impact.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • Possess a Bachelors degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field preferred
    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in program management, preferably within a non-profit setting
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management/budget software and
    • Demonstrated success in managing multi-faceted programs with measurable outcomes
    • Possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Possess a passion for youth, educational and career development, social justice, and mission-driven work

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To help design, launch, and monitor programs that align with the Gaddis Foundation's mission and address specific community needs.
    • To develop program plans, timelines, and metrics to measure the success of program components (college tours, workshops, scholarships, etc.)
    • To research and outline monthly workshop topics, securing subject matter experts as facilitators.
    • To assist in budget planning for program needs
    • To reserve equipment and conference rooms for workshops and program meetings
    • To collaborate with the Gaddis Foundation team and external partners to align efforts to meet organizational goals.
    • To prepare appropriate documentation for grants or sponsors; reserve equipment and conference rooms for program meetings as needed.
    • Recruiting, training, and supervising program staff and volunteers; fostering a team environment; providing leadership, timely feedback, and professional development opportunities.
    • To develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of program structure to guide program implementation, including mentors who provide follow-up with program participants/beneficiaries.
    • To work with the accountant to develop, track, and reconcile program budgets
    • To ensure resources are allocated efficiently to maximize program impact
    • To assist with grant writing, fundraising, and resource development as needed
    • To monitor and/or establish performance indicators to evaluate program success.
    • To prepare comprehensive reports for grant stakeholders
    • To adjust program strategies based on data-driven insights and participant feedback.
    • To work with the Executive Director and CEO to build and maintain relationships with local partners, community leaders, and donors.
    • To represent the Gaddis Foundation at community events, meetings, and outreach activities.
    • To work with the marketing team and other identified contractors to ensure clear and consistent communication regarding program objectives and accomplishments and maintain consistent and relevant branding.
    • To ensure all program activities comply with organizational policies, industry regulations, and non-profit standards.
    • To stay informed about trends in the non-profit sector and incorporate best practices into program management.
    • To answer incoming phone calls from program beneficiaries and community stakeholders.
    • To review emails and respond to inquiries within 24 to 48 hours

    WORK CONDITIONS

    • Full-time position working 40 hours per week.
    • Position will designate weekly office hours; hours may vary during the summer months.
    • Position will require occasional evenings or weekends to support program events.
    • Position could require occasional travel to attend conferences, community meetings, and events.
    • Flexible work environment; hybrid position with opportunities for remote work and in-person collaboration.
