At Earthworm Foundation, we work with our members and partners to make value chains an engine of prosperity for communities and ecosystems with most of our staff directly on the ground.

We see a world where forests are a boundless source of materials and a home for biodiversity; communities see their rights respected and have opportunities to develop; workers are seen as productive partners, and agriculture becomes the instrument to feed a hungry planet and keep our climate stable.

    Your role

    • Build and manage key global partner relationships and workplan activities related to responsible sourcing and production, ensuring high quality deliverables, providing strategic support, and cultivating trusting relationships.
    • Collaborate with companies, forest managers, NGOs, local governments, civil society, and EF teams across the Americas, Asia, and Europe to bring responsibly sourced forest products to market.
    • Support partners on stakeholder, supplier and customer engagement, developing communication tools and documents.
    • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and track progress against agreed upon goals and budgets.
    • Analyse, map, and report on partners’ supply chain environmental and social risk and opportunity.
    • Analyse forest product procurement systems and identify opportunities for improved ecological, social, and economic outcomes.
    • Identify opportunities to embed sustainable forestry practices through partnerships between forest product companies and on-the-ground partners.
    • Contribute to the global EF Pulp & Paper Team and their work to manage grievances against pulp and paper supply chains.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert (or be willing to learn and become one) on topics including temperate, boreal, and tropical forests as well as pulp, paper and biomass.
    • Represent EF at industry events and conferences.
