Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking a fixed-term, 18-month Associate, to provide administrative assistance to the Women’s Rights Division. The Women’s Rights Division focuses on issues related to the right to live free from violence; economic rights; and the right to health, with a strong focus on reproductive justice. This position will report to the Deputy Director of the Women’s Rights Division and will provide administrative support to other Women’s Rights Division staff globally. This full-time position may be based in any the following HRW Offices: Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Sao Paulo, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Nairobi, Stockholm, and Toronto.

Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in law, human rights, public policy, social justice or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is required. We value many different types of previous experience and take a broad view on what experience is relevant, so please include all previous employment, internship, work-study, and volunteer experience in your application.

Salary and Benefits: HRW seeks exceptional applicants and offers competitive compensation and employer-paid benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. The salary range for this position if based in the US is 60,001 – 64,328. Salary ranges outside of the US vary based on location.
