DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATION COORDINATOR

Right now we need extra help in the form of a brand new coordinator of development and communication. You will be in charge of raising funds for the maintenance of the different projects and you will propose new projects and seek the necessary funds for them. You will evaluate and monitor all the projects and correspond with our donors. Besides that you will maintain our social media channels and you will be the voice of Caras Alegres to the outside world.

What we would like to see in our future coordinator of development and communication:

• Preferably a university studies in social careers or international development
• Experience with fundraising and preferable with working in a non-profit organization
• You enjoy working with children and young people
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
• Experience with maintenance of online channels
• Affinity with community work
• An independent and proactive attitude is very important
• You are able to work on location (Xela)
