The ideal candidate is a strong researcher, an excellent writer, highly organized and self-motivated, entrepreneurial and ambitious, and has exceptional attention to detail. Reporting to the VP of Development, the Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer will lead the generation and cultivation of corporate and private foundation funding opportunities as a grant writer, report writer, and relationship manager supporting Trickle Up’s mission. This is a new position in the development department created to achieve our aggressive growth goals. The Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer will be the primary point person responsible for raising money from corporate supporters (new and lapsed) and private foundation donors (new and current). Collaborating with a fast-growing development team, the Officer will work with the VP of Development to grow Trickle Up’s portfolio of corporate and private foundation donors in line with our ambitious growth goals.
The Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer will prospect leads, develop new funding partnerships, and reinvigorate and steward long-time connections and relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with our successful, growing development team and President & CEO. They will collaborate with colleagues across several departments, including communications, programs, finance, and Trickle Up’s regional teams based in India and Latin America.
Our office is located in New York City and has a hybrid model of on-site and remote work. This role requires 1 day per week in the office. Periodically, 2-3 days per week will be required for in-person meetings and collaboration with other team members and colleagues.
We offer a salary between $75,000 and $85,000 commensurate with experience and benefits for this full-time position. The successful applicant will join a dynamic, passionate, multicultural team deeply committed to the alleviation of extreme poverty.
