Position Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Donor and Foundation Relations, the Grant Writer is responsible for researching, preparing, writing and securing grant funding, assisting with managing national grant strategies, and ensuring that grant-related contributed income goals are met. This includes securing grants from existing funders and actively seeking new opportunities that align with the mission of Girls on the Run.

General Responsibilities
Every member of our staff community is expected to serve as a Girls on the Run role model, exhibiting our core values and working to forward the mission. We commit ourselves to actively developing and nurturing positive relationships across the organization - with staff, council members, donors, and board members.
While this position is remote, residency in one of the following states is required: CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, NC, OR, PA, RI, SC, TX, VA, WA, WI, WY.
Girls on the Run strives to provide our staff with opportunities for meaningful in-person connection throughout the year including staff gatherings, professional development opportunities and organization-wide conferences. Employees are always encouraged, and in occasional instances required, to participate in and contribute to these events.

This is a remote* non-exempt, full-time position at 40 hours per week, offering a compensation range of $25 - $28 per hour depending on experience.
