Location: Hybrid Washington, D.C.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Manager of Advocacy Events & Projects who will be primarily responsible for managing the development and execution of advocacy events, projects and programming, promoting awareness of policy priorities, resources and advocacy actions, and providing administrative support to the EVP & Chief Policy Officer, as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field
Experience and/or Training: 2 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably with a nonprofit organization
Technology/Equipment: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting and Google drive
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:. Bachelor’s degree
Experience and/or Training: 4 years’ experience in advocacy events planning and program management
Technology/Equipment Experience with grassroots management software, Quorum.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Hybrid work environment, with a portion of the employee’s time spent in the Washington, D.C. public policy office and a portion of time spent working remotely. 1-2 days working in office.
