    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Director of Communications in executing marketing strategies, coordinating campaigns, and assisting with various marketing projects. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about communications, organized, and able to work independently. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a nonprofit setting and develop a portfolio of work that contributes to a meaningful cause.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Communications director to design digital and print materials, including social media graphics, newsletters, flyers, infographics, and reports.
    • Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all communications content.
    • Coordinating campaigns across multiple channels such as social media, emails, website.
    • Support the creation and editing of visual content for our website and social media platforms.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to shape the development/distribution of our products
    • Help with photo and video editing as needed.
    • Help to ensure our communications efforts meet the highest accessibility standards
    • Provide technical support during webinars
    • Support with administrative tasks related to marketing projects including managing communications calendars, coordinating meetings, and maintaining marketing databases.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
    • Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
      • Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and marketing tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Constant Contact, Canva)
      • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
      • Excellent writing skills.
      • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
      • Good organizational and time management skills.
      • Passion for the mission and values of our organization.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bilingual in English/Spanish
