New York League of Conservation Voters (NYLCV) is the only statewide environmental organization in New York that fights for clean water, clean air, renewable energy and open space through political action. We're non-partisan, pragmatic and effective.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Politics, the NYLCV Long Island Political Manager will play a critical role in the organization for the 2025 political cycle. Their work will allow NYLCV to further its mission of educating and electing more environmental champions to office that will lead on the clean energy transition.
Successful applicants will have experience with governmental advocacy, knowledge of the Long Island political landscape, political campaign process, volunteer organizing, and campaign field work. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of political campaigns and environmental advocacy especially related to the clean energy transition.

Location: Remote work based on Long Island. NYLCV’s headquarters is located in NYC.
Hourly Requirements: Full time
Time Period: This position is funded for one year with the possibility of an extension depending on future funding availability.
Compensation: $65,000 - 75,000
