CPI has partnered with Bloomberg Philanthropies and related entities (e.g. Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation, Harvard Center for Cities) since 2018 to design and deliver programming that helps to equip public servants with innovation tools and mindsets to deliver better outcomes for residents.
Since 2018, this portfolio has trained more than 1,000 public servants in 90 cities across the world, helping public servants generate more than 25,000 ideas with residents to address pressing challenges in their local communities. Cities have gone on to design more than 300 prototypes and replicate the methodologies of the programming on more than 500 other priority initiatives. We are proud of this long-standing partnership and the ways in which we have been able to serve as a learning partner to governments around the world to explore new ways of working and collaborating. Position Overview:
We are seeking an Associate who is an entrepreneurial self-starter with a passion for public sector impact and an interest in human-centered design and innovation. You will be staffed on our future Government Innovation portfolio and will serve as the lead “thinker and doer” on our monitoring, evaluation, and impact workstream. Your primary responsibility will entail managing and analyzing data across our 4+ programs and developing your insights into new frameworks, thought pieces, and programmatic offerings.
This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone who brings strong analytical and communication skills and is eager to grow them further in a professional, mission-driven setting. The right candidate will be energized by the chance to help shape the future of government innovation—contributing insights that will inform a portfolio poised to reach over 100 cities in the coming years. The salary range for this role is $64,582-$73,882, mapped to years of experience and region. At the Centre for Public Impact, we are committed to countering pay inequality and recently completed a global compensation benchmarking process to ensure that we're paying our staff fairly and well for the roles that they hold and therefore, salaries at CPI are non-negotiable.
