    Description

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the intervention model/curriculum/best practices in the community
    • Teaching in areas of health equity and civic participation
    • Administer and collect required agency and project data
    • Participate in staff development activities
    • Maintain all data (electronic and hard copy) including but not limited to participant files and resource materials
    • Incorporate Chicano history and culture into programming
    • Promote agency mission, vision, and philosophy
    • Participate in social media on an ongoing basis
    • Other administrative and business office duties as assigned

    ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Ability to work and communicate with the community
    • Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, generate participation, and provide team leadership
    • Ability to facilitate training and community groups
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Experience in the implementation of best practices, cultural frameworks, and cultural approaches
    • Experience in mobilizing community stakeholders, groups, and volunteers
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Team player, positive attitude, flexible

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in social work, social services, public health, or equivalent education and experience
    • Instructor experience of at least 1-2 years
    • Fingerprint Clearance Card Level 1
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
    • Consent to drug testing
    • Current automobile insurance in the amount of $100,000/$300,000
    • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations
    • Reliable transportation
    • Valid Arizona Driver’s License

    Schedule:

    • Evenings as needed
    • Monday to Friday

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Tucson, AZ 85701: Relocate before starting work (Required)

    Work Location: 100% in person
