    About the Role

    The Warehouse Compliance Coordinator at Tupande contributes in maintaining proper inventory management by ensuring adherence to policies . You'll monitor compliance standards for smooth warehouse operations. Working with warehouse supervisors, you will ensure compliance with standard procedures and lead continuous improvements to maintain accurate inventory data. You will review operations, identifying compliance gaps, and overseeing improvement efforts. You will collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure full process adherence and implement ongoing improvements. You will report to the Warehouse Compliance Analyst.

    Responsibilities

    • Compliance Review and Monitoring: Evaluate warehouse operations for alignment with policies, SOPs, and regulations; conduct audits and inspections; report on performance and flag underperforming areas.
    • Policy Adherence: Collaborate with supervisors to implement and enforce SOPs; ensure policy updates are communicated and understood by relevant parties.
    • Process Evaluation and Improvement: Assess processes to identify inefficiencies; lead initiatives for operational and compliance improvements.
    • Data Analysis: Analyze operational and inventory data to spot trends, risks, and anomalies; prepare detailed compliance reports and corrective action plans.
    • Planning: Maintain a calendar of warehouse review plans ensuring all critical aspects of compliance are periodically reviewed at all the warehouses.
    • Surveillance Management: Develop SOPs for physical surveillance; monitoring and immediate response to emergencies; maintain surveillance records and infrastructure for uptime and incident management.

    Qualifications

    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
    • 4 years professional experience in a business/warehouse/inventory management environment. Internal audit experience will be an added advantage.
    • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
    • Familiarity with logistics, warehousing practices, and supply chain dynamics.
    • Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) used in inventory management and logistics.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present findings to various stakeholders.
