The Montessori Schools are seeking a warm, organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Director of Admissions to support the admissions, enrollment, and re-enrollment processes for prospective, new, and current families. This is a full-time, year-round role requiring occasional evening and weekend hours. The position is split between our two New York City campuses in Flatiron and SoHo.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about early childhood education. They will serve as a key ambassador of our school, helping families navigate the admissions journey with care, clarity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Assistant Head of School – Admissions and Enrollment to implement and refine an admissions strategy that reflects the mission and values of The Montessori Schools
- Plan and support admissions and community events, including open houses, tours, and welcome programs
- Provide warm and responsive communication to families from inquiry to enrollment
- Schedule and manage interviews and visits using the TADS admissions system
- Maintain accurate records and generate regular admissions reports
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of admissions and marketing initiatives
- Represent the school at local events, recruitment fairs, and with feeder programs
- Support the achievement of enrollment goals, while fostering long-term family engagement and retention
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Perform additional duties as assigned
