The ACEC/MA Executive Director has overall responsibility for the operation of activities and

services delivered by ACEC/MA to member firms. This includes scheduled activities noted

below as well as special initiatives that the Board may endeavor to take on. The Executive

Director is the face of the association and is expected to represent ACEC/MA in a professional

manner with all industry, government, member firms and other association partners. While the

overall focus of this position is to implement the strategic plan and achieve the stated goals,

specific responsibilities are identified below. ACEC/MA headquarters is located in Boston,

however travel is required throughout Massachusetts, as well as periodic travel to Washington,

DC and to national conferences and meetings. Travel to regional meetings, national meetings and

other functions may require overnight stays. The Executive Director should have a

Massachusetts driver's license, ready access to a car, and the ability to drive, when needed, to

attend meetings away from the Boston office.
