Purpose
The Resettlement Supervisor coordinates and oversees the implementation of CWS Lancaster’s Reception and Placement (R&P) program. The position is responsible for the accurate and timely provision of resettlement case management services for newly arriving refugees within CWS/Lancaster, as well as the provision of case management services under the Matching Grant (MG) program for eligible refugee clients. The Resettlement Supervisor oversees resettlement staff, including resettlement case managers, case aides, interns, and cultural orientation (C.O.) instructor. The position closely coordinates with other supervisors in the welcome area, as well as with supervisors in the economic empowerment program, and with community partners, with the goal to help newcomers reach self-sufficiency and successfully make a new home in the United States.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in refugee resettlement is required. A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
Experience: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the field of direct services working with immigrant and refugee communities. They will have a demonstrated commitment to excellence with a track record that includes close attention to detail, strong project coordination and problem-solving skills, familiarity with financial tracking systems, strong communication skills including in-person networking, and writing skills and a high degree of cultural competency. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be comfortable with public speaking and representing the Immigration and Refugee Program in meetings and facilitating trainings.
Other Skills: Fluency in a refugee language (Arabic, Nepali, Burmese, Swahili, French, Spanish or other) is preferred along with superior written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate must be computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and Access) and internet applications. Strong organizational and time management skills are required. Must have a car and a valid driver’s license.
