Middle and High School Natural Science, Biology, and Chemistry Teacher

Tomás de Berlanga is a charming school nestled among the trees in the highlands of Santa Cruz Galapagos Island. We are seeking a passionate and resourceful high school teacher who is open to embracing a new adventure and a simpler way of life.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology or related fields.
• Master’s degree is preferred, but not required.
• Teaching qualifications or corresponding.
• At least five years of teaching experience in formal or informal education.
• Knowledge and experience in Project Based Learning instruction with sustainability approach, or similar.
• Teamwork skills.
• Oral and written fluency in English (native or very high proficiency).
• Oral and written fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
