Are you a recent Public Health graduate passionate about improving the lives of seniors? EduCARE India is offering a 2-year paid fellowship to advance the welfare of elderly populations in rural Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. This unique opportunity will allow you to work directly with elders, providing essential health services and fostering social engagement.
As a fellow, you will:
- Develop Geriatric Home Health Aid Services: Support seniors by creating and implementing home-based care systems tailored to their unique health needs.
- Form and Facilitate Social & Self-Help Groups: Organize and empower elders through social and self-help groups, improving their mental health and social well-being, and creating a supportive community network.
This fellowship will provide hands-on experience in public health, social work, and rural development, equipping you with valuable skills to advance your career in community health and geriatric care.

Compensación
(SPECIAL NOTES:
- There will be a 1-month probation to validate the candidate's induction, adaptability, ethics, commitment, and performance. With the main goal being about real work experiential learning for career advancement, we are only looking out for self-driven, committed and ethical Fellow employees who will also get free shared accommodation, meals in the organisational hostel facility, internet-enabled workspace, apart from reimbursements of work-related pre-approved public transport expenses. The ones looking for only huge salary packages may please avoid applying for this job opportunity.
- This award is not valid for Short-term interns, i.e. 3 to 9 months. Interns' work will be reviewed after 3 months to check any possibility of a basic monthly stipend that may cover their care, living and travel expenses. stipend for at least the first 3-months)
