HGW program design and staff practices follow a Positive Youth Development approach, emphasizing engagement, interaction, support, and a safe environment as key components that meet the needs of youth. In Fall 2022, we launched the academic year Saturday Academy for students to continue the gains that they make during the summer. Saturday Academy consists of three blocks (Fall, Winter, and Spring) of six sessions each for a total of 18 sessions during the academic year.
