    Descripción

The Solar Navigator is responsible for the most client-based aspects of the assistance programs offered to income-qualified homeowners and is based in a community where we have an active program. This includes client outreach, program education and promotion, pre- and post-program support, and reporting on client process data. This position will also assist with low-and-moderate income (LMI) program development activities including strategic partnership building, community meetings and presentations, and homeowner engagement. SUN is deeply invested in expanding the equitable access to solar and we are engaged in implementing low-income rooftop solar programs across the USA. We will be expanding this work in support of the Environmental Protection Agency's Solar for All (SFA) program, including in Florida where we are a named subrecipient with responsibilities to procure and deploy solar installations for all program participants over the five-year grant performance period.

While the Navigator will primarily support the projects in the community in which they are based, there will also be opportunities to support programs in other locations within their region. We are currently hiring for 3 separate Solar Navigators, one from each of these regions: Central, Gulf Coast, and Panhandle. These positions report to the Director of Community Access.
