Beginning Jan. 15
TOUR GUIDE for ANNUAL EVENT: Produce 40-page Tour Guide using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
and Acrobat Pro. Includes 250-260 artists’ images and info, plus advertising. Deadline for all print
production approximately March 21. Printing by local magazine for insert in May issues. Review and
approve all pages for final printing.
TOUR GUIDE COVER: Identify and design cover for Tour Guide based on participating artworks. Develop
concept for 3-5 design options for Board final review and decision. This design will be replicated in all
visual communications for the Open Studios season Jan-May.
MAPS: Create Maps showing location of the participants’ studios to be used in Tour Guide.
ADVERTISING: Advertising design and production begins in February for long lead print. Design and
produce 20-25 print and digital ads of varying sizes for publication in local media. Copy, dates, times,
sponsors will be provided by administration teams. Majority of advertising runs April and early May.
OTHER COLLATERAL: Manage design and/or print production of posters, signage, postcards and other
collateral materials.
