About Civic Health Project (CHP)
Civic Health Project is a nonpartisan nonprofit committed to reducing toxic political polarization and fostering healthier democratic dialogue. We invest in academic research and practical, scalable solutions that help people engage constructively across political differences—in politics, media, and daily life.
About Normsy
Social media has intensified political polarization and undermined important civic norms by amplifying divisive, toxic content. Platforms often lack the incentives to counter this, and while skilled humans can redirect harmful conversations toward more constructive dialogue, they can't scale fast enough.
That’s where Normsy comes in. Normsy is an ambitious nonprofit project that blends AI (particularly Large Language Models) with human intervention. Trained teams work alongside AI tools to identify toxic, norms-violating content in real time and respond in ways that depolarize, uphold civic norms, and redirect public conversations at scale.
After launching its initial pilots and Minimum Viable Product (MVP), Normsy is now in an exciting phase of iteration, refinement, and scaling—reaching new audiences and strengthening its impact.
Position: Project Lead – Normsy
We are looking for a talented, entrepreneurial individual to lead Normsy’s growth and development. You will coordinate research, strategy, and implementation—from early testing to large-scale rollout.
This is a 3-month contract initially, remote, and full-time, with flexible hours and the opportunity to extend beyond the initial, three-month contract. You’ll work closely with a core team that’s dual based in the USA and Argentina. Work hours must align with Pacific Time (PT).
We prefer to fill this position in Argentina, but we are open to candidates from other countries.
