    PALS Programs is seeking Program Administrators to oversee and support the execution of our inclusive summer camps for individuals with Down syndrome and their Peers. This role is ideal for experienced leaders passionate about creating life-changing experiences in a supportive and fun environment.

    What You'll Do

    • Guide and mentor volunteer Program Leads and staff.
    • Manage daily camp operations, including risk management, healthcare, and crisis response.
    • Ensure compliance with ACA standards and PALS policies.
    • Facilitate pre-camp trainings and conduct on-site evaluations.
    • Live on-site for 9 days, fully immersed in the camp experience.

    What We’re Looking For

    • 2+ seasons of administrative or supervisory camp experience.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Commitment to PALS values: welcoming, genuine, passionate, supportive, and fun.
    • CPR/First Aid certification with 6 hours of virtual training (provided).

    Camp Locations & Dates

    • Programs run from June 13 - August 10, 2025, across various U.S. locations.
    • Exact program dates and locations are flexible, and preferences will be considered.

    Nivel de Idiomas

    Requirements:

    • Have at least two prior seasons of administrative or supervisory experience in an organized camp (approximately 24 weeks).
    • Commitment to living out the PALS Promise and living by the PALS values to be welcoming, genuine, passionate, supportive, and fun.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience working with individuals with Down syndrome or other intellectual disabilities is helpful but not required.
    • The ability to provide leadership, counsel, motivation, and supervision to a volunteer staff team of up to 15 people.
    • This position requires listening to others, observing others’ actions and taking corrective actions when necessary, reading text and information, and comprehending instructions and manuals. It also requires the ability to move throughout the campus, on and off transportation, and around off-campus trip sites in various environmental conditions.
    • Complete 6 hours of virtual training as well as CPR/First Aid training.
    • Ability to cultivate individual and collaborative relationships while preserving the professional boundaries necessary to create and maintain effective relationships.
