    Job Location:

    This position will be based in Denver, Colorado, at the ROMP Global Warehouse, located at 1474 South Acoma Street, Denver, CO 80223. Domestic travel may be required periodically during the year. This is not a position that can be performed remotely.

    Background:

    The Range of Motion Project (ROMP) is an international nonprofit organization with the mission of ensuring access to high-quality prosthetic care for underserved people, improving their mobility and independence. ROMP provides prosthetic care and community-based rehabilitation to patients via permanent operations in Guatemala, Ecuador, and the United States.

    Position Purpose:

    The WIA is responsible for ensuring the effective inflow and outflow of prosthetic components at ROMP’s global warehouse to fulfil the needs of our branch clinics in Guatemala, Ecuador, and beyond. Specifically, the WIA maintains order, processes donations, fills orders, and documents movements.

    Reporting Structure:

    The WIA reports directly to the CPO as a member of the ROMP Programs Department Team, and works closely with program operators like the Guatemala and Ecuador Prosthetists and the Global Programs Assistant (GPA). The WIA will attend one Programs Department meeting per week. The WIA is responsible for managing any volunteers and/or part-time assistants who help in the warehouse.

    Responsibilities for the CPO in 2025 include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Maintaining order at all times in the entire warehouse (office, shelves, tools, components)
    • Processing incoming components (quality checks, cleaning, QR labels, storage, POs)
    • Filling ongoing monthly and extraordinary component orders from Guatemala, Ecuador, and other branches (picking, packing, substitutions, SOs)
    • Shipping ongoing monthly and extraordinary orders to Guatemala, Ecuador, and other branches (drop-off at/pick-up by UPS)
    • Filling volunteer program component orders from Guatemala, Ecuador, and other branches (picking, packing, substitutions, SOs)
    • Shipping volunteer program component orders to volunteers (drop-off at/pick-up by UPS)
    • Keeping the inventory system up-to-date at all times (product catalog, POs, SOs, stock adjustments, reports)
    • Conducting two physical inventory counts per year (mid-year and end of the year)
    • Purchasing supplies needed for warehouse operations
    • Coordinating volunteer days and delegating tasks to volunteers at the warehouse
    • Providing information as requested by the Programs, Development, Administrative, and Executive Departments (KPIs, impact, expenses)
    • Supporting total quality management activities (component quality checks)
    • Other activities assigned by the manager

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Willingness to be based in Denver, Colorado.
    • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
    • Willingness to work on an hourly basis.
    • Willingness to work extraordinary days/hours, as required, throughout the year.
    • Full professional proficiency in English, written/spoken.
    • Proficiency in Spanish language is a major plus.
    • Ability to put mission before self.

    • Tolerance for uncertainty/change.
    • High level of organization/attention to detail.
    • Ability to follow processes.

    • Minimum of an associates degree or equivalent. Higher is a major plus.
    • Experience in warehouse and inventory management is a major plus.
    • Experience in prosthetic components is a major plus.
    • Experience in the nonprofit sector is a major plus.

    Start Date:

    No sooner than 1 February 2025, no later than 30 June 2025.

    Duration:

    Permanent. The Job Title is expected to work a standard 40-hour week, although some overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines or attend evening and weekend meetings or events.

    Compensación

    • Six (6) days of sick leave.
    • One (1) accrued vacation day per month worked each year.
    • Thirteen (13) federal US holidays.
    • Three (3) paid time off days are available (per occurrence) if a death occurs in your immediate family. (Parents, spouse, brothers, sisters, children).
    • ROMP will contribute a monthly amount of $525.00 towards your Medical plan within our Group Health Insurance. (There is a waiting period of 3 months before you become eligible for this benefit)
