🌏 The Pradiya Foundation Primary School, opening in April 2025 in the remote Himalayas, seeks passionate Nepali educators to help bring our vision to life. Pradiya Foundation is a children’s home with the ultimate goal of transforming into a green community, becoming the heart of the development of its village, situated in the Karnali region, widely regarded as the poorest of Nepal.
The Pradiya Foundation is a remarkable initiative, proving that anything is possible when driven by good intentions stemming from a pure heart. Its founder, Oinak Singh, is a young Nepali man who grew up in a children’s home in India and always dreamed of creating a similar project in his family’s home village, Oda (Kalikot, close to Manma).
We want to address systemic underdevelopment at its roots, transforming the community by providing a holistic, student-centered, and experiential education that fosters curiosity, creativity, emotional intelligence, and sustainability. Our curriculum blends games, nature, well-being practices, art, music, and technology to nurture empowered and compassionate individuals. At this stage, we are recruiting passionate and qualified primary school teachers to help bring this vision to life.
Initially, the school will consist of six classes, from kindergarten to grade five. Each class will consist of around twenty students, meaning the school will begin providing primary education to approximately 120 local children.
The core subjects—Nepali, English, Maths, Science, Local Geography, and Health—will follow the Nepali public school curriculum. Except for the Nepali language class, all subjects will be taught in English using English books and teaching resources. For this reason, a strong proficiency in the English language is a required skill to contribute effectively to our school. Proficiency in Nepali or Hindi, in addition to English, will be a plus.
Currently, the foundation already employs a local primary school teacher and a physical education and yoga instructor.
🎓 We are recruiting three salaried Nepali Primary School teachers for the following subjects:
Additional salaried positions will be progressively introduced in line with the expansion of the school’s funding.
