About Communities United for Police Reform (CPR): CPR is an unprecedented campaign to end discriminatory policing practices in New York and build a lasting movement that promotes public safety and reduces reliance on policing. Position Summary: The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing CPR’s operations, administrative and fiscal processes and help build operational strategies and policies to keep CPR functioning smoothly. The Operations Manager will work with CPR's Interim Executive Director, fiscal sponsor, and relevant staff to improve operational, HR and fiscal systems and protocols. As a member of a small staff team, the ideal candidate is detail-oriented, committed to CPR’s issues, and flexible and effective in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This is a hybrid position based in the NYC area. CPR staff are required to be in the office 2 days per week, and as needed when required by work responsibilities. Most work will be during business hours (10am-6pm) with some flexibility. Staff schedules may vary based on individual needs, campaign activities, and will occasionally require working evenings and weekends. The organization closes between December 25 and January 1, and observes a summer Friday schedule from the 3rd Friday in July through Labor Day. Additional in-office days are assessed based on organizational needs.
