    National nonprofit that funds PreK-12 teachers and schools across the U.S. is seeking a full-time, remote Growth Marketing Manager to help us equip more classrooms and students for success and offset the financial burden on teachers, who spend an average of $860 per year of their own money to purchase the supplies that they need to do their jobs. Since 1998, AdoptAClassroom.org has raised $73 million and equipped more than 7 million students across the U.S.

    Position Overview

    The AdoptAClassroom.org marketing team is responsible for execution of national brand awareness for the organization, supporting lead generation and engagement for fundraising activities, and maintaining an engaged community of educators nationwide. The team is also responsible for marketing-communication plans to help engage our community with national and regional education campaigns in collaboration with corporate partners including Subaru of America, Burlington Stores, and Skechers.

    The Growth Marketing Manager is the department’s expert for digital marketing activity analysis and recommendations. The role will be responsible for creating and optimizing user journeys for the organization’s community of educators, funders, and stakeholders. In addition to implementing and maintaining best practices for email channel communications, the role will also lead building, analyzing, and reporting marketing performance to optimize the team’s effectiveness and recommend improvements. This position will need to be adept at data analysis and maintenance in Salesforce, Account Engagement, and Google Analytics with a focus on experimentation and adaptability. The end result will be marketing programs that better support the organization’s stakeholders and better serve classrooms in need nationwide.

    This role reports to the Director of Growth and Partnership Marketing.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Automation and Segmentation: Develop a deep understanding of user behavior, demographic data, organizational objectives, and engagement metrics to create personalized marketing journeys.
    • Analytics & Reporting: Work in tools to develop, track, and analyze marketing performance (open rates, CTRs, leads, donations). Report on actionable insights.
    • Lead Generation: Deeply understand the organization’s target segments and implement digital marketing advertising communications with marketing team members to boost leads and improve the user journey for each group. Marketing advertising channels would include social media and search advertising for lead generation, email, and texting.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing colleagues and cross-functional teams to ensure all email programs are achieving broader marketing goals.
    • Technology and Innovation: Stay up-to-date on the latest tools, technologies, and trends to enhance our digital marketing performance and scalability.
    • Leadership Skills: Share digital marketing learnings and best practices with the rest of the marketing team and ensure implementation of learnings over time. Serve as the team’s expert on email performance and engagement.

    Demonstrated strengths in the following competencies:

    • Project management skills with the ability to manage complex campaigns simultaneously.
    • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs with sales or fundraising teams.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques, current trends, and best practices.
    • Team-oriented and flexible.
    • Enthusiasm for learning new tools and techniques independently.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • 3+ year(s) work or internship experience in marketing or communications required.
    • Experience building end-to-end campaigns in marketing automation systems (HubSpot, Marketo, Account Engagement, etc.) with integrated CRM systems (Salesforce).
    • Comfortability building and editing email templates using HTML and CSS.
    • Proven track record of developing successful digital marketing strategies to drive measurable results.
    • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining segments for increased engagement over time.
    • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure impact and determine improvements.
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel to build reports and analyze data.

    This full-time position offers benefits including healthcare (plus dental and vision), paid holidays, paid time off, 401K with employer match, and a one-time $500 work-from-home stipend.

    This position can be 100% remote anywhere in the U.S., but may require occasional travel within the U.S. Staff local to our Minneapolis, MN headquarters can have daily access to our downtown office to work, but it is not required.

    This full-time position offers benefits including healthcare (plus dental and vision), paid holidays, paid time off, 401K with employer match, and a one-time $500 work-from-home stipend.

    This position can be 100% remote anywhere in the U.S., but may require occasional travel within the U.S. Staff local to our Minneapolis, MN headquarters can have daily access to our downtown office to work, but it is not required.
