    • Lead efforts to engage new volunteers and activists, particularly from communities disproportionately impacted by gun violence.

    Coalition Building & Community Partnerships

    • Lead coalition management efforts with grassroots and community-based organizations.
    • Identify opportunities for collaboration, co-hosted events, and community-based programming.
    • Support partner-led events through sponsorships, staff participation, or Alliance resources.

    Legislative & Electoral Support

    • Work closely with the Government Affairs Director to support community mobilization during legislative session and election cycles.
    • Support community members and volunteers in testifying, contacting lawmakers, and participating in advocacy events.

    Equity & Learning

    • Promote equity, inclusion, and accessibility in all aspects of organizing and engagement work.
    • Create a learning environment that fosters growth, development, and knowledge-sharing across the Field Team.

    Skills, Education & Experience

    • 4–6 years experience in community organizing, advocacy, or campaign work.
    • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role, ideally managing field or organizing teams.
    • Deep commitment to racial and social justice and experience working in diverse communities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team.
    • Experience planning events, facilitating meetings, and building coalitions.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
    • Familiarity with Washington State politics and advocacy landscape is a plus.
