Director, New York City Chapter

We are seeking a dynamic and proven leader to serve as the Chapter Director for Safe Families

in New York City. This role requires a visionary leader capable of scaling an established

10-year-old Safe Families Chapter. The Chapter Director will provide strategic leadership by

guiding and empowering staff to build partnerships with Safe Families churches, grow a robust

base of volunteers, and develop a strong network of referral sources. They will ensure the

effective support of families experiencing isolation and oversee the equipping of volunteers to

provide compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking with operational savvy, financial acumen,

and people leadership. They will be comfortable navigating challenges, fostering collaboration,

and building strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors and community partners.

Strong communication skills and a personal commitment to Safe Families’ mission are essential.
