The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supports students and their families to ensure positive social interactions and academic success. They are expected to collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators and other school staff to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for all students. The BCBA identifies concerns and trends at the individual, class, and school level, and works in connection with the Counselor and SEL Specialist, school-based student support teams, teachers, and the Principal to implement effective interventions and initiatives. This job description is meant to provide structure to the responsibilities and accountability of this position. There may be additional responsibilities that the Behavior Analyst undertakes or that are assigned as needs of students and of the school arise. The BCBA reports to the Principal.
This is a 10-month position which is exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime pay under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Capital City seeks to employ experienced, credentialed teachers. Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree and 3+ years of relative full-time experience.
