We have driven economic equity for 25 years by delivering highly impactful workforce development mentoring programs for over 25,000 individuals. These programs provide unemployed and underemployed adults in New York City and Washington D.C. with life-changing career opportunities while giving employers access to a pool of capable and diverse talent.

    StreetWise Partners’ one-year mentoring program provides customized, individualized mentorship for internship and job seekers while helping them establish an expansive professional network made up of hundreds of advocates who open doors and support long term career success. By 2026 we aim to launch 1900 careers, which equates to $92m in first year cumulative wages to transform individuals, families, and communities.

    Position Overview:

    StreetWise Partners is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Corporate Engagement Manager to lead the charge in expanding and deepening our corporate partnerships in the dynamic DC Metro Area. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our partnerships with companies that provide critical funding, volunteers, job opportunities, and event space—all of which directly impact our life-changing programs. Imagine collaborating with over 40 top-tier companies and organizing 70+ inspiring volunteer events each year, from mock interviews to resume reviews!

    You will be at the forefront of business development, managing key corporate accounts, and driving revenue growth from corporations and foundations. If you’re excited by the prospect of leading impactful projects, forging new relationships, and making a tangible difference in people’s lives, this is the role for you.

    You’ll be collaborating with cross-functional teams, maximizing partnership opportunities, and helping to propel StreetWise Partners to new heights.     This hybrid role provides flexibility, with one day per week in the office and 1-2 days dedicated to attending external meetings and events.

    This position reports to the Chief Partnerships Officer and works out of the Washington, DC office.

    Your Role Will Include:

    • Prospect Development: Research and identify potential corporate partners, crafting innovative engagement strategies that address their unique needs.
    • Sales Achievement: Overcome objections, close deals, and meet ambitious financial goals—securing $25K in the first 6 months and $100K within 12 months.
    • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with a talented team to develop cutting-edge sales strategies that fuel growth and success.
    • Fundraising Support: Drive fundraising initiatives, including Matching Gifts, Volunteer Grants, and employee giving campaigns.
    • Project Management: Lead the way in organizing impactful volunteer events and client engagement activities, ensuring flawless execution.
    • Relationship Building: Cultivate lasting relationships with corporate partners, boosting engagement and driving growth.
    • Client Engagement: Be the go-to for client inquiries, delivering exceptional service with a smile.
    • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent StreetWise Partners with energy and enthusiasm at meetings and events, sharing our mission and impact.
    • Community Networking: Elevate our presence in the community through proactive networking and strategic relationship building.
    • Market Awareness: Stay ahead of CSR trends, DEI initiatives, and early talent acquisition programs to seize new opportunities for growth.

    Qualifications You Bring:

    • 5-7 years of experience, preferably in fundraising or CSR.
    • Strong knowledge of the DC metro area corporate ecosystem.
    • A collaborative, high-energy team player who thrives on making connections.
    • Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for presenting to diverse audiences.
    • A self-starter who excels in managing multiple projects independently.
    • Proficient in digital communication tools such as Google Calendar, G-Chat, and Gmail.
    • Experienced with project management and data platforms like Asana, Excel, and Salesforce (or similar).

    Physical Environment

    This position requires sedentary work. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity
