Schedule: 30 - 40 hours per week
Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000/year, commensurate with experience
Status: 12-month consulting contract, subject to renewal or conversion to full-time employment
Work Location: Healdsburg Museum, 221 Matheson Street, Healdsburg, CA. Flexibility to work remotely as needed.
About the Healdsburg Museum and Historical Society (Museum):
The Healdsburg Museum is a regional history museum that documents, preserves and presents the history of Healdsburg and northern Sonoma County through exhibitions, research, and educational programs. The organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is housed in a 1911 Carnegie Public Library at 221 Matheson Street in Healdsburg, CA. The Museum is run by a small full-time staff and team of volunteers, led by an Executive Director/Curator and overseen by a Board of Directors.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a new position opening as the Healdsburg Museum begins a new era of growth. The changes are inspired by a major multi-year principal gift, a strategic re-envisioning of the Museum’s role in the community, and an evolution of the Museum’s approach towards philanthropy. As such, this position offers the opportunity to play a catalytic role in charting the Museum’s future.
