Finance and Operations Manager

The National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Association (NQAPIA) empowers LGBTQ+ Asians and Pacific Islanders through movement capacity building, policy advocacy and representation. Founded in 2015, NQAPIA is embedded in generations- and centuries-old traditions of resistance, resilience, and community-making among LGBTQ+ Asians and Pacific Islanders. NQAPIA is in a moment of transition and this is a ripe opportunity for a motivated Finance & Operations professional to help lead our finance and operations efforts.

• Last week of the calendar year office closure (December 25 - January 1)
• 8 paid holidays (Lunar New Year, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteeenth, US Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day Following Thanksgiving)
• 2 floating holidays
• Unlimited sick days (Employees are expected to track sick days taken within Gusto)
• Birthday off
• 18 vacation/personal days per calendar year.
• 35 hour workweek (8 hour days with 1 hour break as standard)
• Core working hours of 9am-12pm PT/11am-2pm CT/12-3pm ET, meaning most internal meetings and communications will happen during these hours
