OVERVIEW
The Partnership Manager is responsible for managing strategic relationships with key partners to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals while fostering long-term collaborations that are mutually beneficial. This role will partner other OIC of America national staff and partner teams to drive integration and institutionalization of partners into OIC of America and Sullivan Training Network (STN) to drive scale, impact and influence within the national network. This role must have a broad knowledge of program management principles and have a strategic mindset with the goal of a highly codified national network that adds the highest possible value to both partner organizations and OIC of America. This role demonstrates exemplary knowledge regarding relationship management as well as strong leadership and teamwork skills, positive attitude, accountability to OIC of America values, and excellent partner service. Experience working with marginalized populations, workforce development, program reporting, data collection and analysis and/or community-based organizations is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization through development and implementation of partnership strategies aligned with the strategic plan of OIC of America.
- Assure that data entry is complete from all external partners and affiliates within the network.
- Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize effectiveness and ROI to determine the need for improvements and determine growth opportunities for partners and affiliates
- Constantly evaluate, and prioritize potential partners based on strategic fit and market potential.
- Maintain and strengthen existing partnerships through effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders, including senior management, partners, and clients via an array of methods to include - 1:1 Meetings, Monthly Meetings, Quarterly Convenings, Friend Raisers, Leadership Calls, Newsletters, Blogs/Social, Resources, Prof. Development of Human Capital, Technical Assistance, Program Development, etc.
- Plan and direct the ongoing partnership relations from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes.
- Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people.
- Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed.
- Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset by being proactive, resourceful, and resilient – while being able to adjust and change without difficulty and with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility.
- Design and develop job aids, reference guides, reference cards, and other appropriate learning tools that support partnership.
- Maintain a consistent culture of training and development within the business.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 3-5 years of post-secondary college experience to include detailed knowledge on the admissions, enrollment, career services and general operations functions within a post-secondary Career Technical Education (CTE) school.
- BS/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MS/MA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Program Director or other managerial position.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics.
- Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting.
- Working knowledge of MS office and superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and program management software (e.g. Basecamp, Monday, MS Project etc.)
- A strong business acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities to execute effectively while aligning people strategies with business goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
- Superior people skills with the ability to understand the need for diplomacy and tact.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including influencing and coaching others, and demonstrating courage, both as the individual contributor and as a leader.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
The expected hours of the position are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position may require occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate program schedules.
- Travel will be necessary to support the development and deployment of programming and support of partners within the network
