    ABOUT US:

At Founders Pledge, our mission is to empower entrepreneurs to do immense good. Since launching in 2015, we’ve raised over $10 billion for the most impactful social causes. We offer the simplest path to impact for successful entrepreneurs, providing end-to-end giving infrastructure, pioneering research, and access to a worldwide network of experts. In other words, we help tech leaders become strategic philanthropists. Our 1900+ members include the people behind industry-leading companies such as Airbnb, UiPath, Dropbox, Skype, Spotify, and Uber.

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an Advisory Operations Associate to support our global advisory team by providing operational and administrative support to our advisors. Founders Pledge Advisors are responsible for guiding and supporting our members' philanthropy, and as Advisory Associate, you will ensure that the Advisory team as a whole is as efficient and effective as possible.

Your days will vary depending on the team's needs. Sometimes, you'll be supporting inbox/calendar management and entering data into Salesforce. Other days, you'll be creating persuasive materials to help the advisors bring their recommendations to life.

    In this role, you will:

    • Manage email inboxes, draft responses, and ensure Advisors are focusing on the most critical requests.
    • Schedule meetings, prepare briefings, and ensure follow-ups are actioned in a timely manner.
    • Proactively track and drive action on key deadlines, outstanding action items, and priorities for the Advisory team.
    • Ensure our Salesforce system maintains accurate and up-to-date records of philanthropic activity.
    • Maintain a clear view of all Advisory engagements, ensuring that every consultation, follow-up, and deliverable stays on track.
    • Monitor timelines, manage dependencies, and flag potential bottlenecks to keep engagements running smoothly.
    • Help manage inbound requests to ensure Advisors focus on the most strategic opportunities.
    • Craft thoughtful, high-quality emails, memos, and talking points to ensure clear and compelling engagement with philanthropists.
    • Develop professional and well-structured materials—including slide decks, one-pagers, and spreadsheets—to support consultations and engagements.
    • Serve as the key point of contact between Advisory and other teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and visibility into key initiatives.
    • Keep the Advisory team aligned by tracking activities, ensuring everyone is informed about ongoing engagements, and facilitating knowledge sharing.

    ABOUT YOU:

This role is perfect for someone who has a strong background in executive support, who excels at anticipating the needs of the team, driving action, managing complex information with discretion, and transforming it into polished, influential materials that drive strategic decisions. You will be excited by the prospect of working in a team that has a direct influence on a large amount of philanthropic capital and the potential of moving those funds to high-impact funding opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable working across time zones supporting a distributed team with staff in the UK and US, and you will need to have an ability to take initiative in finding ways in which you can support the team. You’ll have a keen attention to detail, emotional intelligence, and a mindset that allows you to focus on maximising the impact of yourself and those around you.

Our preference is for candidates who are based in New York and who are able to combine working from home with time in our New York base. At minimum, only candidates who can work on EST will be considered.

    You will need to have:

    • Experience with administrative/operations/executive support, including occasional calendar and inbox support, preparing briefing materials, and document/materials management
    • Keen interest in or experience within the impact sector, with an eye towards executive support, operations, and systems/project management
    • Excellent GSuite skills (Docs, Sheets, Slides) ideally with a good design eye
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Comfort working with data, including data entry and drawing insights from data
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Comfort with discretion and confidentiality practices

    WHY WORK WITH US?

You can find more about the benefits we offer here, but what makes us truly special is both our mission and our people. We’re a diverse team from both charitable and commercial backgrounds who believe that amazing things can happen when we tackle problems together. We offer a flat structure and an opportunity to help shape the future of philanthropy.

There's no expectation for you to attend an office on a regular basis, and for this role, we are prioritising applicants who are New York-based.

We bring the global team together once per year for a global offsite. This is a week of collaborative learning, idea generation, and socialising. In addition to this, each team has the opportunity to meet together at least once per year.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Founders Pledge. We seek people with different strengths, experiences, and backgrounds who share our drive to understand and solve complex social challenges.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. Finding solutions to the world’s most pressing problems requires different perspectives and unique ways of thinking, and we are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can do their best work.
