Our mission is to ensure better, longer lives for the greatest number of people. Our approach is rooted in Mike Bloomberg's unique experience and success across the field of business, government, and philanthropy.

This is an in-person role based in New York City.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Complete due diligence and charity checks for prospective grantees

    • Review grantees’ financial monitoring reports to assess progress against their budget and raise issues and approval requests for budget modifications and changes
    • Create and process grant communication and payments, including the verification of information to ensure that it aligns with our funding guidelines and terms
    • Support grantees with our online grants portal by facilitating registration, managing log ins, troubleshooting, and resolving issues

    • Maintain data quality and integrity in our systems – input data aligned to our coding hierarchy and definitions, document decisions, and include supporting documents
    • Draft briefings, memos, presentation materials, reports and analysis for program team interactions, board meetings, internal and external meetings
    • Actively assist with additional projects as needed - demonstrating the ability to respond to priorities and resourcing needs as they shift
    • Be accountable for follow-ups from meetings to ensure projects are on schedule and deadlines are met

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • 3+ years of experience handling financial reporting, budgets and data management in an administrative or operations coordinator role in a fast-paced environment; experience in Grants Management is preferable
    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to independently coordinate and lead multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality and project follow-through

    • Tenacious with a strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
    • Be able to receive and apply feedback
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Discretion and confidentiality
    • Flexibility and ability to learn and develop new skills on the job
    • Solid proficiency in Microsoft suite, Excel, and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills such as VLOOKUP, modelling scenario planning, pivot tables and macros would be a plus
