    Description

Special Needs Solutions (SNS) is a Tucson nonprofit that makes customized adaptive equipment for children and adults with disabilities. The work is done by dedicated volunteers, and the equipment is provided to our clients for just the cost of materials. Our mission is to help the people we serve more fully touch, experience, affect and communicate with the world around them.

SNS is looking for an Executive Assistant interested in working side-by-side with the Executive Director in service of that mission.

The Executive Assistant’s role is to help SNS’s Executive Director carry out his many and varied responsibilities. These include: Scheduling, assigning and supervising volunteers, consulting with therapists and clients regarding equipment needs, and creating equipment worksheets. The Executive Assistant will also help maintain registers of volunteer hours, revenue, and expenditures, assist in sending out annual appeals for donations, thank you letters, invoices, and state and federal business filings, as well as help monitor the SNS website and other social media.

SNS is looking for someone eager to work at this wide array of tasks alongside the Executive Director, on site at SNS’s workshop.

This position is full-time. Depending upon qualifications and experience, annual salary will be in the range of $50,000 to $60,000, plus a health insurance stipend and paid federal holidays and vacation.

    Primary Qualifications:

    • Interest in fulfilling SNS’s mission.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Enjoy working collaboratively.
    • Desire to learn new things.
    • Penchant for problem solving.
    • Flexible, able to adapt to shifting priorities.
    • Working knowledge of Word/Excel.
    • Valid AZ driver’s license.
    • 2 years related work experience.
