Purpose of Position:
The Deputy Director of Civic Engagement and Community Affairs will provide strategic leadership and oversight to CPCA’s statewide community health center (CHC) civic engagement initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and expanding CPCA’s civic engagement framework to ensure increased and sustained participation in advocacy, voter engagement, and public health initiatives among CHCs, Regional Clinic Consortia, and community-based organizations. The Deputy Director will lead high-level collaborations with key stakeholders to drive long-term systemic change and advance policies that support civic engagement in healthcare settings.

Work Environment:
Compensation: $115,495 - $122,288
Association Expectation:
Due to network security and hybrid work this position requires the employee to have a cell phone with a data plan and home internet service, both are reimbursed at a set rate each month. All hires are required to maintain residence in California. This is a hybrid position with employees coming into the office in downtown Sacramento.
