    SUMMARY: Oversees implementation of leadership programs and alumni engagement activities; coordinate logistics, food, space, travel, materials for program-related events.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversees and coordinates leadership programs
    • Leads participant recruitment and retention, including conducting outreach to potential participants and speaking at community events.
    • Manages administrative and technical logistics for programs.
    • Tracks, records, and organizes participant information and materials related to participant data, attendance, and evaluation/outcomes.
    • Ensures program-related collaterals are up to date and programming reflects the organization’s intersectional values and justice for communities.
    • Represents Catalyst Miami at community events and helps to build relationships and partnerships with other organizations and community members.
    • Maintains regular communication with program participants and alumni.
    • Assists program participants with final reflection processes.
    • Assists in connecting leadership program graduates to Catalyst alumni opportunities

    and Miami Our Way.

    • Coordinates and leads events such as facilitator training, retreats, meetings and graduation ceremonies.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • This position does not directly supervise employees

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Language: Professional working proficiency in oral and written English. Professional working proficiency in oral and written Spanish or Haitian Creole is a plus.
    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Years of experience: none
    • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of web-based platforms

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
    • Ability to work in a shared-workspace environment
    • Stretch and bend to organize and distribute materials for Catalyst Miami activities
    • Able to sit at desk for long periods of time and utilize computer for extended periods

    Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate organization needs, including evenings and weekends. Out of town travel may be required.
