Job Summary:
The Deputy Director, Program Administrator, supports the Managing Director in managing the work and daily operations of the Indo-Pacific Program. This includes managing ongoing projects, relationships with funders, assisting with grant proposals and reporting, internal coordination within GMF, and coordination of the 9-member Indo-Pacific team. In addition, the Deputy Director, Program Administrator, will be in charge of the team’s annual budget, including personnel allocations and GMF’s related internal budget and forecasting processes. This involves working with team members on project/grant management and budget reporting and tracking as well as with Finance and Development and their respective processes. S/he also oversees the strategic coordination of the Indo-Pacific workstream convenings, including five Track 1.5 trilateral forums. The position requires daily coordination of program operations and internal and external communications and management of donor and partner relationships. The Deputy Director, Program Administrator, manages the Europe-based Senior Program Coordinator and Program Assistant and is responsible for the training of new team members in convening and operational processes. S/he will represent the Indo-Pacific Program for various internal purposes and promote our work. Additional responsibilities in support of the program – both in Europe and DC – are a part of the position.

Salary: $112,800 - $150,000
