    Work Schedule: Full-time (Exempt), 40 hours per week with flexible hours, including working some weekends and evenings, and must be available to travel across the state at least quarterly.

    Location: Hybrid, several days in person at our Hillsboro (Washington County) office location, along with regular attendance in-person at community events.

    Salary Range: $75,000 to $99,000 annually aligning with educational and clinical experience

    Founded in 2021, Raices is a small yet growing nonprofit organization serving Oregon Latine communities with a focus on Washington County and Medford areas.     Position Overview:

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Provider who has experience and/or a focus on working with youth, adults and families to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapy and psychological assessments to Latine, primarily Spanish-speaking individuals. The Licensed mental health provider must be either a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychology Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The Licensed Mental Health Provider will play a critical role in supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of Latine community members. This position requires fluent Spanish language skills to effectively communicate with patients, their families and cultural brokers. The candidate must have a passion for culturally affirming care, while also recognizing the impact of systemic oppression, racism, and colonization on Latine mental health. This position will also require regular travel to our location in Medford, Oregon (at least quarterly).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide individual, family, couples and group therapy for individuals (youth and adults) facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, interpersonal stressors, family conflict, amongst others.
    • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations, including diagnostic interviews, testing, and report writing. Psychological assessments may include immigration evaluations.
    • Develop and implement culturally sensitive assessments and treatment plans based on patient needs, strengths, resilience and their social, cultural, and historical contexts.
    • Collaborate with patients, families, traditional health workers, cultural brokers, healthcare providers and agencies to ensure comprehensive care and culturally affirming care for individuals, youth and families.
    • Be equipped to use and incorporate culturally adapted evidence-based and trauma informed therapeutic techniques into the therapeutic and assessment work.
    • Promote a trauma-informed approach to care that acknowledges the unique cultural and familial needs of the Latine community.
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with organizational standards and ethical guidelines while ensuring that patient records are kept confidential and secure, and that any sharing of information is done in accordance with the patient’s wishes and legal requirements.
    • Participate in case consultations, culturally affirming supervision and team meetings to share insights, address challenges, celebrate strengths and discuss treatment progress.
    • Work with partners to support equitable access and utilization of mental health services from historically excluded communities.
    • Engage in outreach and community education efforts to reduce stigma around mental health and encourage families to seek services.
    • Support and lead, in collaboration with traditional health workers and community liberation team, community-focused and community-engaged programs, education and community outreach activities.
    • Support clinical training and supervision of trainees including advanced practicum students, interns, and traditional health workers. This includes but is not limited to participating in didactic training, providing clinical consultation, reviewing cases and notes, and on-call support.
    • Stay current with best practices in mental health, therapy, assessment and cultural competence in mental health care.
    • Demonstrate ability to maintain case management in accordance with federal, state and/or funding source requirements as well as Raíces de Bienestar policies and procedures.
    • Maintain professional license and credentials.

    Qualifications:

    • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology or master degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work.
    • Active and valid licensure as a mental health provider in Oregon (or ability to obtain licensure if relocating).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth, adults, families, particularly in a clinical or nonprofit setting.
    • Fluent in Spanish (both written and spoken) to effectively serve Latine families and children.
    • Experience with psychological testing, including administering and interpreting assessments for adults, youths and families.
    • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and ability to implement them in a culturally competent manner.
    • Excellent communication skills, both in Spanish and English, with the ability to build rapport with youth, families, and community partners.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks.
    • Tech savvy and able to use a variety of platforms including electronic medical health record, Google, Box, and others.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Passion for making a positive impact on the Latine community.
    • Current driver’s license and ability to travel within the state
