LSE has a fulltime Staff Attorney position open. Applicants must be living or planning to live in Maine and candidates living in northern Maine are preferred. The Staff Attorney could work remotely from a home office located in Maine, from an LSE office if there is one nearby, or under a hybrid arrangement. The Staff Attorney will handle a wide variety of civil litigation matters and conduct outreach.
Candidates must be licensed to practice in Maine (or be sitting for the bar exam in February) and have 0-5 years of related legal experience. Candidates must also have a strong interest in and/or experience doing civil litigation and a commitment to working with and helping older people. The Staff Attorney will work as part of a team of Staff Attorneys and receive ongoing professional training and support.
The salary range for this position is $69,500 to $73,500 depending upon relevant experience. LSE offers a collegial and inclusive work environment and an excellent benefit package.
