    Job Summary:

    MacArthur High School is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Head

    Cheerleading Coach to lead and develop our cheerleading program. The ideal candidate will

    have a passion for mentoring students, fostering teamwork, and promoting school spirit through

    engaging and disciplined cheer practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the cheerleading team, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
    • Plan and conduct daily practices from 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
    • Develop and teach cheers, chants, stunts, and routines for school events and athletic

    games.

    • Ensure the safety of all participants by following proper techniques and safety

    guidelines.

    • Organize and coordinate team events, performances, and community activities.
    • Foster team spirit, discipline, and sportsmanship among team members.
    • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
    • Manage team logistics, including scheduling, uniforms, and equipment needs.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in cheerleading, coaching, or related fields is preferred.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to motivate and inspire high school students.
    • Commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive team culture.
    • Must be punctual and available to arrive by 3:30 PM for practices.
    • Knowledge of cheer safety standards and guidelines.
