Do you believe in the power of education, entertainment, and environmental action? Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of kids while contributing to a larger movement for the planet?

We’re looking for an organized, driven, and mission-focused School Booker to help scale the Let’s Go Eco National School Tour. This is more than just a booking role – you’ll be helping build something transformative that teaches kids to be stewards of the environment in a fun and unforgettable way.

At Let’s Go Eco, we blend hip-hop, storytelling, and interactive assemblies to empower the next generation. Through our EcoHero Show, we’ve performed at 2,500+ schools across California, sponsored by cities and counties to inspire environmental action.

Now, we’re taking this nationally with the launch of our Let’s Go Eco rap-along children’s book series, where we perform the books live in front of students. We’re looking for someone to join us on this exciting journey and help book these performances at schools across the country.

Unlimited Potential: Let’s Go Eco Rap -Along Book Series:

I created Mr. Eco 12 years ago and have performed at schools around the world and taught other performers how to use my content. I combined the best of all our eco lessons through the “Let’s Go Eco” rap-along book series. We have been testing them and are launching the 8 book series in April. Performing these books live this past fall has created a level on engagement during shows that is truly special and they are the PERFECT reinforcement tool for our lessons. This new brand of “Let’s Go Eco” has limitless potential in the kids space through these school shows, book sales, animated videos bringing the stories to life and the audio books/podcasts.

About the Role:

As our School Booker, you will play a key role in expanding the reach of this initiative by:

• Scheduling and Coordinating Shows: Reach out to schools (via email and phone) to book assemblies featuring live performances of our eco-themed books.
• Managing Communications: Serve as the primary contact for PTAs, principals, and librarians, ensuring seamless coordination before and after shows.
• Driving Book Sales: Develop systems to boost pre-show and post-show book sales, making the performances a lasting educational tool for students.
• Improving Systems: Collaborate with our California-based school booker to refine processes and create scalable systems for national expansion.
• Targeting Schools: Work alongside a virtual assistant to identify and contact schools (all leads provided).

Who We’re Looking For:

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

• Familiar with School Systems: Whether you’ve volunteered with a PTA or worked in event coordination, you understand how schools operate and how to engage decision-makers.
• Comfortable with Cold Calling: You’re confident, persuasive, and not afraid to pick up the phone and make things happen.
• Highly Organized: Managing schedules, communications, and follow-ups comes naturally to you.
• Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable learning new systems and using Salesforce (or similar CRM tools) to manage bookings and contacts.
• Creative and Collaborative: You enjoy brainstorming and refining pitches that resonate with schools.
• Mission-Driven: You’re excited by the prospect of using your skills to make a tangible difference for kids and the planet.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $30/hour
• Bonuses:
  • $50 per school booked
  • $0.50 per book sold

Schedule:

• Spring Soft Launch (Jan-May): Part-time, ~15 hours/week
• Scaling Up (Starting July): Full-time, ~30 hours/week to manage 10 performers and 1,000 schools

Tools & Training:

• Tools Provided: Salesforce CRM for managing school contacts and bookings.
• Training: Hands-on training with our California school booker and founder to ensure you feel confident in the role.
