Caminhos Bikes & Tours is looking for a social entrepreneur who wants to lead and grow a new project in the heart of Rio de Janeiro.
About Caminhos Bikes & Tours
Caminhos Bikes & Tours is the newest branch of Caminhos, a social enterprise rooted in a language school, eco-farm, and NGO (Mais Caminhos). Caminhos began with a mission: to support a local orphanage — and grew into a platform for impact through education, ecotourism, and community engagement.
Now, with Bikes & Tours, we aim to offer meaningful and conscious tourism experiences — hikes, bike tours, surf lessons, favela visits, samba workshops — guided by locals trained through our own social programs. Tour revenues go directly toward training and empowering underprivileged youth.
Our goal: to build a self-sustaining social tourism initiative where every tour supports real opportunities

👀 Who we’re looking for
A builder, a doer, a dreamer — someone who wants to turn values into real-world action.
Honestly? We’re looking for someone a bit like we once were — full of drive, idealism, and a willingness to dive into something meaningful, even if it’s not easy. Someone who sees responsibility and uncertainty not as obstacles but as the space where impact and growth happen
You might be the right person if you:
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit and love to take initiative
- Believe in social change through business and action
- Are a strong communicator and natural organizer
- Speak fluent English (Portuguese is a big plus)
- Have a financial cushion to support yourself in the early stages (this is not a salaried job — yet)
- Thrive when faced with challenges, responsibility, and purpose

Compensación
This is not a salaried position — at least not in the beginning. Income will be 100% commission-based, directly linked to the success and growth of the project.
That means:
You earn what you build. The more successful the tours and partnerships, the more you earn.
Because of this, it's essential that you have some personal financial stability or a buffer to support yourself during the startup phase. If you don’t, this opportunity is probably not the right fit — yet.
But if you do have that flexibility, and you’re excited about co-creating something meaningful, we believe this role can become both personally fulfilling and financially sustainable.
In time — and with success — there may be opportunities for a stable income and even shared ownership of this pillar within the Caminhos brand.
