    Our staff is focused on providing the best customer service for IT managed services to our clients and users, mainly in the Boston area. We are seeking an IT Consultant / Managed Services IT Engineer to play an important role in making this happen. An IT Consultant works directly with clients on site so they can leverage technology to support effectively and efficiently their mission and achieve their goals.

    The IT Consultant reports to the Director of Managed Services.

    Responsibilities

    Customer Service

    • Uphold TNB’s compassionate culture, dedication to sustainability, and commitment to serving our community
    • Work collaboratively with clients, fostering strategic relationships with key stakeholders
    • Solicit feedback from key stakeholders
    • Ensure client satisfaction with friendly and helpful responses in a timely manner
    • Provide on-site support as needed, including troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues
    • Adhere to strict standards for security procedures and recommend upgrades as needed

    Remote Monitoring and Management System

    • Manage and log all work through the RMM
    • Keep documentation for each client clear and up to date including visit summaries
    • Track progress and resolve tickets according to SLA protocols

    Project Work

    • Develop and execute SOW and project plans for your clients
    • Serve as a resource for a project team as needed

    General Duties

    • Follow all company procedures and protocols
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
    • Perform other duties as required

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Avg. starting salary: $80,000 – $90,000 (BOE)

    Skills and Attributes

    • Minimum five years of work experience in IT or tech industry
    • Experience working at an MSP (preferred)
    • Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required)
    • A love of technology and learning
    • Ability to meet challenges and solve problems
    • Solid written and oral communication skills, founded in being a good listener, geared to both end users and other techs
    • Experience with SharePoint and Azure
    • Proficient with: Windows Server, Windows desktop, PC infrastructures, and Cloud services
    • Well-informed on network operating systems, information/worker applications, database systems, messaging, management & operations, and security software
    • Current industry certifications (preferred)
    • Experience with ConnectWise and/or AutoTask or similar PSA tool (preferred)
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced IT world
